On a bright, dry day, tempered by a chill north-easterly wind, 45 ladies from Taunton & Pickeridge Golf Club donned their thermals for a 12-hole Stableford competition.
At the end of what turned out to be an enjoyable round it was the consistently excellent golf of Janet Kingston who amassed 25 points over the 12 holes who was the winner of the Silver Division.
Jane Ledsham and Caroline Cooper were the best of the chasing pack in the Silver Division both returning with 22 points.
In the Bronze Division it was Susan Gawne-Cain who was the winner with 24 points, one ahead of second placed Liz Stevens with 23, who enjoyed the same advantage over Janet Smart with 22.
Taunton and Pickeridge junior golfers enjoyed considerable success over the course of 2014.
T&P Juniors won the league title for the first time in many years after a fantastic performance by all of the team throughout the summer.
Individually Laura Herbert won the Somerset County Girls title while Kobe Adams won the South West Under-16 Boys Championships.
There was a hat-trick of titles this season, because in addition to the Juniors the T&P A team and the Stags also each won their division titles.

November 30: 1 Mike Cottrell 41 pts, 2 Mike How 39pts, 4 Henry Mellor 39pts, 4 Lee Ayres 37pts, 5 Greg Walters 37pts, 6 Michael Bright 37pts.
On Tuesday the Ladies held their annual Plum Pudding Stableford competition over 11 holes.
It was a bright December morning and a large field turned out, several groups opting to carry on – after the competition playing the rest of the course.
The Lady Captain provides the prizes of three Plum Puddings, in three different sizes. The largest pudding went to Jenny Swann with 21pts, second was Patricia Frazer with 20pts and 3rd after countback was Kathy Salway with 20pts.
