TAUNTON Titans continue their National league campaign tomorrow when they visit the newly-branded Southend Saxons (2.30pm).
After three losses on the bounce in November Titans came through their final fixture for the month with a comprehensive victory over Lydney at the weekend.
And despite the November defeats Taunton still managed to claim 14 points out of the possible 25 available having played teams place first, second and fourth in the league.
Now December starts the games do not get much easier for the Titans with three more tricky fixtures on the horizon including one at home against the Cornish All Blacks and one at Clifton on the night of Friday 19th.
First up though is another long trip to Southend who are always a good team at home and will be eager to push themselves up the league before the half-way mark.
With no major injuries from last weekend’s game the Titans will look to pick from a settled side but will still be without the services of Jake Woolmore, Charlie Walker-Blair and Jack Claydon.
Titans now have star man Tom Popham back in their ranks after injury.
Chief coach Tony Yapp said: “It was also great to see Tom back and looking sharp, he also took his try very well.”
