A BRAVE display from Yeovil Town wasn't enough to pull off one of the great FA Cup upsets, as they went down to a 2-0 defeat to Manchester United at Huish Park on Sunday.
Second half goals from Anders Herrera and Angel di Maria fired the Premier League giants into the fourth round, after Gary Johnson's side had spurned a couple of glorious chances.
After a goalless first-half, Herrera opened the scoring with a stunning 25-yard effort, striking the ball cleanly into the top corner on the turn.
Joe Edwards hit a shot straight at De Gea a minute later - and United could have gone two up shortly after but Rooney's free kick sailed over the bar.
Rooney and di Maria went close to adding a second, before the latter killed the tie off on the 90 minute mark, delicately dinking the ball over the onrushing Steer into the net.
