A YOUNG footballer from Watchet has officially signed with League One side Bristol Rovers.
Under-15s midfielder Mason Raymond put pen to paper after being scouted from FC Bridgwater in the Junior Premier League in just his second season at the club.
The professional academy signing becomes the third in two seasons, as Mason follows in the footsteps of other FC Bridgwater players such as Archie Sturdy (Yeovil Town FC) and Travis Yule-Turner (Bristol Rovers).
Mason has been a credit to himself, his family and the club, and the club would like to wish him every success in the future.
Going into their third season in the Junior Premier League, FC Bridgwater are continuously developing aspiring footballers through an outstanding football provision, which has seen players go on trial with the likes of Exeter City, Plymouth Argyle and Bristol City.
If you are interested in a trial with FC Bridgwater then please email liam@fcbridgwater.co.uk for more details.
