TAUNTON School Boys Under-14s hockey team are celebrating after winning the County Championship.
The tournament, played at King’s, saw eight school teams playing a gruelling round robin format.
Director of hockey Elliot Foweraker said: “Our team played brilliantly, winning six games and drawing one.
“They fully deserved the county title.”
The team progresses to the regional stages in March.
Results: Downside W 4-0; Wellington W 1-0; King’s Taunton D 0-0; Millfield W 2-1; Wells Cathedral W 4-0; Queen’s Taunton W 3-0; King’s Bruton W 1-0.
