SOMERSET are hoping to build on Sunday's victory over Middlesex as they travel to Canterbury to take on Kent in a televised day/night encounter which begins at 2pm today (Tuesday).
The visitors sit second going into the encounter, with Kent seventh, as both sides search for consistency in the competition.
Somerset's flying start was halted by defeats against Sussex and Essex, while the hosts are looking for a third straight win having beaten Hampshire by one run in a thrilling contest on Sunday.
The two sides have served up some superb contests in limited overs competitions in recent seasons, none more so than last year's reverse fixture at Taunton when Peter Trego's century led Somerset to a four-wicket win after Daniel Bell-Drummond and Alex Blake had earlier hit tons in Kent's 352-6.
Somerset's last visit to Canterbury in this competition was not so memorable, as they were bowled out for 136 and lost by 95 runs in 2016.
Somerset will again be led by Lewis Gregory, with Tom Abell (finger) still out of action alongside Jack Leach (thumb), Dom Bess (England) and Josh Davey (quad).
Calum Haggett, who represented Somerset at age-group level and plays his club cricket for Bridgwater, is included in the Kent squad.
Kent Spitfires squad: Daniel Bell-Drummond, Zak Crawley, Joe Denly, Heino Kuhn, Sean Dickson, Sam Billings, Alex Blake, Darren Stevens, Calum Haggett, Adam Rouse, Matt Henry, Harry Podmore, Mitch Claydon, Imran Qayyum.
