STOGUMBER reclaimed the West Somerset League title after defeating closest rivals and last season's Ashbrittle by six wickets on Saturday.
Spinner Simon Penny (4-32) and Toby Gilbert (3-29) did the bulk of the damage as Ashbrittle were bowled out for a below-par 135 in the 35th over.
James Weetch then led Stogumber to a comfortable victory with 61 as they reached their target in the 24th over, despite the efforts of Rob Hill, who took 2-9.
Stogumber cannot now be caught by Ashbrittle, even though they have a game more to play.
Morebath piled up a massive 278-3 at to Carhampton with Mark Hill (111), Steve Kelland (71) and Ralph Venn (55) all in the runs. The visitors were then bowled out for 55 with Oli Byles snapping up 5-27.
Chris Marshall ended with fine figures of 5-27 as Roadwater dismissed hosts Taunton Deane Crusaders for 119. Toby Brewer then helped them to a four wicket victory with 42.
A. Blackmore (6-17) and D. Phippen (4-13) were in excellent form for Winsford who bowled Brompton Ralph out for just 82 to earn a 20-run victory.
Earlier, Winsford were bowled out for 102 with Keith Piper (4-32) and Rob Chiplin (4-32) in form with the ball for Brompton.
Gareth Bellamy hit yet another century for Huish Champflower in their four-wicket victory at home to Blagdon Hill in Division Two.
Dan Parsons hit 46 not out as Blagdon were bowled out for 182 - Ed Bradbury (4-51) and Bellamy (3-42) were the leading Huish wicket takers.
Bellamy then almost single-handedly led his team to victory with an excellent unbeaten 120.
Huish are 35 points clear at the top, although second-placed Cannington have played two games less.
Ned Binding hit 118 to lead West Monkton to a fine total of 241-8 at home to Lydeard St Lawrence. Will Oster made 58, while T. Lloyd-Jones took 4-49. In reply, Lydeard St Lawrence were all out for 205 with T. Moore (66) and S. Connor-Muir in the runs.
In Division Three, A. Harwood had an excellent all-round game for Stoke St Mary, scoring 57 not out and taking 4-23 in their ten-wicket victory away to Cutcombe. R. Harris scored an unbeaten 61 for the winning side.
Minehead 3rds tied up the fourth division title with a five-wicket win away to North Newton 2nds. Skipper Geoff Merrell took 4-31 as Newton were all out for 97. Minehead lost five batsmen in their pursuit of victory.
The prolific Mickey Masters scored 137 as Taunton A piled up a daunting 287-7 at home to Spaxton. Greg McKay then took 4-20 as the visitors were bowled out for 154.
D. Hoggart's 51 helped Bishop's Hull 2nds to a 23-run victory away to Fitzhead 2nds who went down despite half centuries for Lee Milton (60) and D. Burton (50).
M. Baker hit 52 in Trull Crusaders' seven-wicket victory away to Crowcombe 2nds, while Lloyd Shattock's 5-50 could not prevent Trull going down by ten runs at home to Stogumber 2nds.
Stoke St Gregory are Division Five champions, despite going down by 42 runs at home to Dulverton 2nds.
Julian Roberts scored 105 not out to fire Milverton to a big 115-run triumph at home to Brompton 3rds, while Graham Hake scored an unbeaten 82 in Brompton 2nds' seven-wicket win at home to Curry Rivel. That was despite the efforts of Rivel's T. Horsey (87) and P. Jess (5-11).
