Somerset County League Division 1: Street Res 1, Watchet Town 1.
A GOAL five minutes from time allowed Watchet Town to claim a deserved point away to Street.
The Red and Blacks were relieved to hit back after falling behind with ten minutes to go but, on the balance of play, would have felt aggrieved to have been beaten.
After surviving a couple of close calls, Watchet soon settled and had the better of the first half.
Jason Worth sent a header wide and Simon Chicott hit the angle of post and bar with a header but they could not break through.
Watchet were forced to make a substitution either side of half-time - Ben Saddington and Jamie Milton suffering injuries - and it seemed to disrupt them.
Street put the visitors' defence under pressure and, just as it looked like they would survive, they fell behind with ten minutes to go.
But spirited Watchet refused to let their heads drop and hit back five minute later when Chris Sully fired home after being sent clear by Paul Raymond's back-healed flick.
Watchet are without a game on Saturday.
