MINEHEAD Cricket Club is embarking on a ‘Centurion Challenge’ to raise funds for mental health charity Mind Somerset.
The cricket club is inviting all of its members and supporters to get involved in the challenge, whether that is by adopting the centurion (100km) or half-centurion (50km) - running, cycling, rowing, swimming or even walking the dog 50 times!
Those taking part have the month of March to complete those kilometres - either taking on the challenge as an individual or a household.
Donations should be made via the fundraising page here, with Minehead CC’s Facebook page providing updates on the club members’ progress.
A target of £1,000 has been set, and at the time of writing, 23 supporters had contributed £280 to the cause.
