IT was an action-packed weekend for Taunton Netball Club as five sides were in action.
To start, Priory took on Neptune in what turned out to be a very close match.
The team played smoothly together keeping within 5 points of Neptune for the whole game.
There was some great work from the defence of Mimi and Lily, against a fine tuned attacking pair.
Priory fought till the end, finishing two points down with a score of 39-41 to Neptune.
The player of the match award was given to Libby Porter.
For Vivary, they lost to Bodmin in their match but there was a standout performance from Susie Freeman.
Elsewhere, it was another very close game for Monmouth, but Jupiter had the edge all the way through and clinched a two goal win.
Finally, Blackdown beat Venus and Tone beat Parkfield. The player of the match in that game was Tia Stearn.
