YEOVIL Town moved closer to relegation to the National League South after defeat to Dorking Wanderers on the Bank Holiday Monday.
One thing that Yeovil have found tricky in recent weeks is converting chances into goals. They have managed to score four goals in their last ten games.
At the start of March the club signed young striker Reo Griffiths on loan from Doncaster Rovers until the end of the season.
The centre forward has made two appearances off the bench since his arrival to Huish Park and in the last four league fixtures he hasn't been named in the squad.
Today (April 11), Reo Griffiths told the County Gazette he doesn't know why he isn't getting a chance in the side.
He said: "I’m desperate to play and help the team stay in the National League. I’m 100% fit and ready to score some goals for the team.
"I have been patiently waiting for my chance and I know the fans have been asking why I’m not playing but I honestly don’t know why.
"I was brought in to score goals and that’s what I would love to do for the club and fans."
The former Tottenham Hotspur youth player and Olympique Lyon striker added that the support from the Yeovil fans is impressive.
"We have incredible fans and they travel up and down the country spending hard earned money to watch us.
"We have four cup finals left and there is enough quality in the building for us to score goals and finish on a high.
"I’m really fired up for the challenge ahead and whilst we still have a chance of staying up we have to fight for that.”
The Glovers now sit six points from safety with four games to play and a drop to the sixth tier is looking increasingly likely.
