THE King's Coronation took place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, so Longrun Meadow Parkrun decided what better way to celebrate the morning than to run?
The flags were up around the barn, the volunteers all had crowns on, there was a new special one-off edition royal selfie board made and the runners were ready.
Unfortunately it was a bit of a wet start to the morning, but after the organisers spoke to the runners, off they went.
This week 224 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 21 were first timers and 11 recorded new personal bests.
First home was Charlie Moir in 17:33. Just on his tail and in second was a first timer Oliver Rant in 17:53 and third across the line was Sammy Allen in 18:10.
First over the line this week for the ladies were Joanna Carritt in 20:21, following behind in second place was Elisha Burgess who earnt herself a new PB of 22:42, and last but not least was Sarah Capstick was 10 seconds behind who completed it in 22:54.
