MAX Waller’s Somerset CCC Past Players XI will be taking on the 2023 Somerset CCC Champions in a T20 match at Taunton Vale Sports Club on Friday 1st September starting at 5.30pm.

The match is part of Max Waller’s Testimonial Year and will see many of the Somerset players from both the past and the present in action.

The Past Players team will include Pete Trego, Jamie Overton, Johann Myburgh, Keith Parsons, Tim Groenwald, Azhar Ali, Carl Gazzard, Chris Jones, Alex Barrow Richard Levi and Steve Kirby along with  Sophie Luff and Max Waller himself.

The Somerset T20 Champions side is expected to include most of this years Finals Day winners.

Tickets for what promises to be an action packed evening of T20 cricket cost £10 for adults and £5 for Children Under 16. and can be purchased on the gate or can be pre-ordered by emailing- bookings@tauntonvale.com or calling 01823 252225.

In addition Match Day Hospitality Tickets are also available, limited to just 20 people and costing £60 per person which will include fork buffet, complimentary drink voucher, private bar area, balcony seating and entry to the after match evening event with the players. 

After the cricket there will be an Evening With the Players event that will include Q&A sessions, Auction and Prize Draw and a Hog Roast, tickets for which cost £40 per person, numbers limited to 50 people.
