IF you are feeling inspired by the Women’s World Cup then perhaps joining a local football team could be for you.
Wellington AFC Ladies are seeking new players and a head coach.
Manager Nyima Touray has said: “Come and join us and give it a go – whether you are looking to start playing football or coming out of retirement, we want to hear from you!”
Currently, the Ladies play in the Somerset County Women’s League (SCWL) and they are about to start their 13th season and will be in Division Two South for 2023-24.
The club and staff are passionate about making football available for all skills and abilities.
The club has said the ideal candidate for the role of head coach would be availability on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons (during the league/season).
As well as that, the coach would have to be able to support and develop players individually and as a team.
If you are interested in playing or becoming head coach, then please get in touch by direct message, phone 07745 847693 or email wellingtonladiesfc@yahoo.com
Wellington Ladies are also on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
