Taunton Town have announced Lancer Scott as their new back of shirt sponsor for their home and away kit on a two-year deal.

The southwest based company, who founded in 1998, are a major player in UK construction, development and facilities management have agreed to sponsor the top half of both the home and away shirt from this season.

The Peacocks are in their second year at National League South level.

And chairman Kevin Sturmey told the club's website:” We are delighted to Partner with Lancer Scott and from the moment I met Daniel from the Taunton Office and then Terry and Toby from Bristol there was a connection, and we share so many similar values.

"Lancer Scott can also see our vision and know that this great club can grow but they also recognise like any business we have to be sustainable in the short, medium, and long term.

"To attract a company like Lancer Scott to support us means we are doing many things right but success on the pitch is only part of the answer as we have to build an infrastructure off the pitch to support the playing side. We can only do this with the support of our fantastic sponsors and partners and adding Lancer Scott is now another part of the jigsaw.”

Lancer Scott Commercial Manager Daniel Cree, pictured with Club Director Derek Perry, added:” We are very pleased to be involved with Taunton Town and support them for the seasons ahead. Our Taunton division is ideally situated for Lancer Scott and Taunton Town to partner together.

"Lancer Scott have a long history of supporting clubs, community groups and charities within the areas we operate as we see the social value benefit we can help to provide for local communities.

"We watched with interest last season, their first in National League South, and we wanted to show our support as a local company, to our local football club, to enable them to maintain and further develop the club’s rise over recent years. We wish the club all the best for the season ahead!”
