TAUNTON Deane Bowls Club Ladies team had a thrilling end to the match against Ilminster Ladies in the third round of the Yetton Trophy on Saturday.
It was always going to be a tense match as both sides were of equal skill and ability but it was a was an entertaining battle nonetheless.
Ilminster Ladies started strong as they came out of the blocks early to win the first few rings.
After ten ends Taunton Deane were trailing by six shots across the four rinks and defeat looked likely.
However the Taunton Ladies came back strongly in the second half of the game to win overall by eight shots.
All in all it was a great team effort from the Taunton Deane side who are pictured in their uniforms for the Yetton Trophy match on Saturday.
They now play Clevedon ladies in the next round of the competition on Saturday, December 9.
