TAUNTON Town drew 1-1 with Worthing at the weekend in the National League South but perhaps should have taken all three points based on performance.

Head of football Rob Dray agreed as he said it felt like it was two points lost.

"I thought we were magnificent today, we were so dominant against a very good possession-based side," Dray said.

"We showed our heart, our hunger and our desire, and our quality was so good today. I am really pleased for the lads because there has been a lot of questions asked of them of late."

The equalising goal snapped a 493 goal drought in league football, and the goal came from attacking midfielder Dylan Morgan. This leaves supporters asking questions of the firepower from the strikers.

Dray added: "Everybody played well, Nat Jarvis put in a proper number nine's performance, absolutely outstanding.

"Our analysts get the stats through and interestingly enough from all the stats last year to this year we are up on everything, so even though it is not quite dropping for us at the moment we just need to keep our heads down."

Taunton Town head to Eastborne Borough next on Saturday, December 2. They are next at home on December 5 when Slough come to town.
