ON Saturday May 11, there will be a charity football match in Taunton that is setting out to raise money for Mind in Somerset.
The match will take place at Wordsworth Drive, the home of Taunton Town Football Club for a 3pm kick off and will be named the The Terry Taylor Memorial Trophy.
The two sides are called Mind in Somerset FC and Hubb FC and they will battle it out in the friendly.
Former Cardiff City and Exeter City player Steve Flack will be lining up for the Hubb FC side and a number of soon-to-be announced former pro players will be taking part.
Alec Jones will manage the Mind in Somerset team while John Tong will be managing Hubb FC for the match.
Football Fun Factory will also be there on the day with inflatable football challenges for adults and children with prizes on offer.
Terry Gibbs has been part of the organising team for this event and he said: "My aim is to raise awareness for Mind in Somerset to get people speaking, we are losing too many people in Somerset and I want people to know it’s okay to talk."
