TAUNTON Town Football Club has confirmed that head of football Rob Dray will not be at the club next season.
Following relegation from the Vanarama National League South, the football club has announced that they will not be renewing his contract for the new season.
Dray was appointed to the role in 2018 and guided the Peacocks to Southern League glory before managing the side for two seasons in the National League.
A spokesperson from the Board at the club said: "Taunton Town Football Club can confirm it will not be renewing Head of Football Rob Dray’s contract for the 2024-25 season.
"The club would like to place on record its thanks for Rob’s efforts since his appointment in 2018, including the club’s promotion to the highest league standing in its history, and working through what has been an incredibly tough season on and off the pitch.
"The club would like to wish Rob and his management team every success in the future."
The Board added: "The Board of Directors feel that now is the right time for a reset and new approach as the club embarks on life in the Southern League Premier."
