Five new directors have been appointed to the board of directors at Taunton Town.
An annual general meeting of Taunton Town Football Club took place on Tuesday night at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium.
The members formally ratified the appointment of Carl Gazzard, Mark Kitchener, Lloyd Irish, Debbie Gould and Jackie Cottey to the board of directors, all of whom had been co-opted on to the board to fill vacancies during the course of the past year.
They join current directors Derek Perry, Richard Smith and Brian Pollard, all of whom continue to serve on the Board following votes by club members. The members voted not to re-appoint Kevin Sturmey to the board of directors.
At its next meeting, the newly appointed Board will elect a chairperson. Brian Pollard will continue to hold the position of chair until that meeting.
