Many of the Somerset Pathway teams have been in action over the last few days in which there have been some impressive individual performances,

Rishabh Shimpi topped the batters with 144 for Somerset Boys Under 16s, Charlotte Webber scored 104 for Somerset Girls Under 15s while Emma Mason scored 100 retired for Somerset Under 13 Girls.

The outstanding figures among the bowlers was from Jessica Slade who took five wickets for 11 runs for the Under 15 Girls.

Shimpi scored his 144 in Somerset’s 221 all out in their ECB Group 3 County Cup against Wiltshire his runs coming from 121 balls with 19 fours and two sixes. In reply to which Wiltshire were bowled out for 151 in 43,3 overs, Robert Patch claiming three for 12.

Charlotte Webber’s run a ball 104 , that included 12 fours came in the Under 15 Girls match against Cornwall, where batting first Somerset posted 275 for four which also included 55 from Isla Stark which came off 64 balls with three fours.

Cornwall in reply were bowled out for 72 in 25.4 overs. 

Emma Mason’s 100 came in Girls Under 13 match against Devon where batting first Somerset scored 231 for four from their 35 overs. Emma’s runs came off 88 balls and included seven fours and during the course of her innings she added 180 runs with Emma Chapman who scored 54 from 102 balls with two fours.

Devon in reply were all out for 131 in 24.5 overs, Millie Baker taking four for 16 and Isabella Tryfonos claimed four for 15.

Somerset Boys Under 18s were in ECB County Cup quarter final action when they faced Hampshire at Wells.

Batting first Somerset posted 342 for eight from their 50 overs of which Fin Hill hit 80 from just 49 balls with six fours and five sixes, Thomas Rew scored 76 from 64 balls with four fours and two sixes and Kian Roberts made 78 off 75 balls with eight fours and a six.

Hampshire in reply were all out for 287 in 45.4 overs, James Matravers taking four for 47.

In their four day match against Gloucestershire, the Boys Under 18s batting first were all out for 302 in 73.3 overs, Thomas Rew and Kian Roberts both scoring 64 , Oscar Coleman 31 while Rishabh Shimpi remained 46 not out.

In reply Gloucestershire were all out for 286 in 70.3 overs, Fin Hill taking four for 76.

Batting for a second time Somerset were all out for 183 in 56 overs, Fin Hill making 48, Bertie Michael 40 and James Theedom reaming unbeaten on 32.

Needing 199 for victory Gloucestershire reached 200 for eight in 56 overs.

The Somerset Girls Under 18s played Dorset in the ECB one day cup and after being out in the visitors scored 125 in 37 overs Lilly Hawkins top scoring with 30, in reply to which the hosts reached 126 for six, Lilly rounding off a good day by taking three for 32.
