Taunton Town make their return to the Southern League this weekend as they face another side relegated from the National League last season.
The Peacocks are at home to a Gloucester City who dropped out of the National League North and find themselves also in the Southern League.
Taunton themselves were relegated from the National League South.
There have been a raft of signings for Taunton this summer as new manage Richard Luffman looks to turn around the fortune of the Peacocks.
Taunton have had a largely successful pre-season which included a victory in last season’s County Cup against Brislington. The new-look Peacocks side notched up 30 goals in 11 games in pre-season including scoring seven against Nailsea & Tickenham.
Gloucester have had a promising pre-season themselves, scoring 22 goals in seven games.
The match will kick off at 3pm at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium.
