Taunton Town has confirmed the departure of a player from the squad.

Louie Slough has left the club to pursue regular first team football this season, the club has confirmed.

The young defender joined the Peacocks in December 2023 in a permanent move from Dorchester Town, having begun his career at Torquay United.

He went on to make six full and three substitute appearances last season and has featured in several games during pre-season.

A spokesman for the club said: “We thank Louie for his efforts whilst with the club and wish him the best of luck in the future.”
