It’s been a busy week for members of the Hydro Harriers.
Ian Salter and Jim Shaun starred in a close-run Longrun Meadow parkrun, on Saturday (August 24).
Salter pipped Shaun on the line by one place and five seconds, finishing in 21st place in a time of 20m 25s. 350 parkrunners took part.
Further afield, at the Three Brooks parkrun (Bradley Stoke, north of Bristol), Andy White snapped up 47th spot from 325 finishers, recording a time of 22m 58s.
On Monday Ian tackled the 2024 Baltonsborough Five road race which started and finished at Baltonsborough Village Hall near Glastonbury.
He ran a five-mile route which takes in slightly undulating country lanes around the village, he finished in 30th place in an unofficial time of 34m 1s.
