Minehead enjoyed a fourth win on the bounce after a trip to Peasedown Miners Welfare.
The three points take them up to seventh place, four points behind leaders Congresbury, with games in hand on all six teams above them in the table.
Starting with the same line-up as in their last two matches, Minehead began to take control after an even first 10 minutes.
Ollie Hall's precise pass found Toby Waghorn, whose attempt was deflected for a corner by the Miners' goalkeeper, Callum Heal.
Five minutes later, Josh Elston manoeuvred past two defenders and set up Sam Heath, who scored the opener.
Waghorn then doubled the lead with a superb shot from 18 yards towards the end of the first half.
However, Minehead began to lose their grip midway through the second half.
Despite substitutions, the home side upped their game, and Nathan Beachamp pulled one back with 15 minutes left, as Minehead's performance wavered.
With the prospect of two points slipping away, Minehead rallied.
Lofts was close to scoring, but Heal saved with his feet.
Waghorn then set up Elston, who secured the win three minutes into injury time.
Earlier, the same duo had combined well, but Elston's shot was well saved by Heal, who was the busier of the two keepers.
Louis Burge was named Man of the Match.
Minehead's seven scheduled away trips continue next Saturday with a shorter trip to Burnham United, where they aim to sustain their good form and further climb the league table.
