Three new appointments have been made at Taunton Town.

Peter Headington becomes the new hospitality manager whilst current volunteers Martin Hebditch and Jema Bartlett have taken on new responsibilities as safety officer, and fundraising and events co-ordinator respectively.

Taunton’s football operations Manager Karl Lindsay said: “As the club grows it’s important we have more staff willing to play a more active role to help it grow in areas where we need to improve. I’m delighted to welcome all three into these vital roles.

"Peter will be looking after our matchday packages to start with as he gets to understand the Club. He brings a wealth of experience, having spent many years at Bath City FC assisting the board in a commercial non-executive role whilst looking after the hospitality and events for the entire club.

"Peter will be a great source of help and information to us for building our commercial side of the business to where we need it to be.

"Martin is stepping up from Head Steward to Head Safety Officer for the club.

"A face most fans will know and someone familiar with football and more importantly Taunton Town FC.

"As well as Head Steward on match days, Jema will now become the Fundraising and Events Co-Ordinator for the Club. A role which will become vital for the Club allowing us to run events at the ground and fundraise whilst taking part in events around the town representing Taunton Town FC.”

The club are also seeking to recruit a welfare officer or two people to fulfil the welfare/safeguarding and well being role model role for the club. If you are interested, please email admin@tauntontownc.om  to discuss this role further.
