Evander Grubb has left Taunton Town in search of first-team football while Jack Matthews joins the club on loan from Plymouth Argyle.
Grubb's departure from the club means there are now no players remaining from the side relegated rom the National League South last season.
He played twice as a starter this season and made six substitute appearances. Grubb scored twice, both in the opening day draw with Gloucester City.
A spokesman for the club said: "We thank Evander for his efforts whilst with the club and wish him the best of luck in the future."
Meanwhile, the club have confirmed that Jack Matthews has joined on a three month loan from Championship side Plymouth Argyle.
The young defender who hails from Newquay has progressed through the youth ranks at Argyle after joining them as a 10 year old, featuring at centre half for the Under 18’s but also being able to operate in midfield. He was included in the senior Argyle squad for much of last season before signing a pro contract this summer and has just returned from a loan spell at Tavistock.
Town manager Richard Luffman said:” Centre half was a position we were struggling in and we’re delighted to add Jack to the squad. He’s an intelligent footballer who’s very good on the ball. Many thanks to Plymouth Argyle for their help in getting the loan sorted.”
