Adam Huxtable was the clear winner in Division One of Saturday’s Stableford at Taunton and Pickeridge Golf Club with 39 points.
Kevin Gidley was second with 35 points, but three players returned on 33 and after count back it was John Snell who was third ahead of Kaan Felton and Brian Trickey.
Dan Brierley headed division two with 38 points four ahead of second placed Jerry Palmer with 34, while Paul Laming was third after count back with 33, just in front of Jonathon West.
The third division was won by Paddy Farrell with 38 points, Steve Dacosta was second but only following count back that put ahead of third placed Steve Comber and Roy Miller after all returned with 36.
In Division One of last weeks Stableford it was Kevin Pellow who claimed the honours with 37 points one ahead of second placed Daren Carter with 36, while in third place was Martin Hill on 35
The second flight was won by Bill Maginn with 39 points,George Armstong was second with 36 and Mike Spencer third on 35.
The Ladies Section medal winners from throughout the summer season competed for the Joan Elliott Trophy at the end of which Jane Martin-Scott was the winner with a nett score of 73, Barbara Barber was second with 75, while Terina Parker claimed third on 79.
The Seniors hosted a very strong Burnham and Berrow team who at the end of a close contest ended up beating their hosts 3.5 to 2.5.
Last week the Seniors took on the T&P Ladies in their annual match which in 2023 was comfortably won by the Ladies. This year it was the Seniors who came away the victors 5&3.
