Minehead Ladies hosted Exeter 4s in a challenging and well-contested match.
The first half saw Minehead, initially sluggish, outplayed by visitors.
However, they almost scored after breaking through the midfield press, earning a short corner that just missed the target.
Exeter responded with a corner of their own, sneaking in at the post, ending the half 1-0 in their favour.
After a motivating half-time team talk, Minehead returned to the pitch revitalised and determined.
With encouragement from Coach Andrew, the hosts found their rhythm.
A run from Cape found Hayes in the D, and the rebound fell perfectly to D. Lancaster to pick her spot behind the Exeter keeper.
Exeter's last effort was thwarted by Minehead’s defence, with keeper Weetch making several diving saves.
The match concluded as a 1-1 draw.
