Wellington Ladies were on the wrong side of a nine-goal thriller against Pen Mill.
They were unlucky not to win, or at least draw, in the 4-5 defeat at the Playing Field on Sunday, October 13.
The first half ended 2-2, with Natasha Hole scoring twice, assisted by Ash Grabham-White and Charlotte Holder.
Player-of-the-match Hole secured a hat-trick with another goal, again assisted by Grabham-White.
With 15 minutes remaining, Grabham-White equalised to make it 4-4, but Pen Mill clinched victory with a late goal.
Wellington Ladies played with determination throughout, showcasing their skills with numerous shots on target and impressive runs.
Wellington Ladies expressed gratitude to their sponsors – Prestige Cleaning, Complete Roofing and Building Solutions, and RM Building Services – for their continued support.
