Even though the weather recently seems to have been challenging for golfers at Taunton and Pickeridge GC, there are plenty of events lined up over the coming months which all members are invited to join in with.

First up is Night Golf on Friday, December 6.

Following on from the success last year, T&P have a loop of holes lit up for members to experience playing golf in the dark in a fun team competition followed by a meal.

Numbers for this popular event are limited, so get your team of four players together and sign up!

On Thursday, January 16, T&P have arranged a Pro's Winter Away Day.

PGA professional Jason Avery and his assistant Ali Williams have created a fun day out to look forward to in January.

This includes 18 holes of golf at Minehead GC, coffee/bacon roll, and prizes in a fun team format.

The cost is £45 per person and once again there is limited availability, so please let the pro shop know.

A golfing trip to Spain for T&P members is taking place between March 3 and 7, which provides the opportunity to kick start the golfing season and includes an amazing day out at Desert Springs.

Limited spaces are available, so please contact the pro shop as soon as possible.

On Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28, Jason Avery has arranged a Pro's Away Trip to St Mellion Estate in Cornwall.

The trip includes two rounds of golf on the Kernow and famous Nicklaus course, an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast.

The price is £240 per person based on two people sharing (single rooms are available at an additional cost), which includes a welcome gift and prizes for both days.

The event is open to all members of the Club.
