Minehead secured a decisive victory against Nailsea and Tickenham Reserves, edging closer to the top of the table.
The match began with Nailsea and Tickenham Reserves showing promise in the first 25 minutes.
However, Minehead's Josh Elston broke through the defence 15 minutes in, cleverly chipping the ball into the net from 15 yards out.
Toby Waghorn was then brought down by the keeper, leading to Stefan Phillips scoring from the penalty spot 10 minutes later.
Shortly after, Sam Heath was fouled in the box, resulting in another spot-kick.
Phillips again delivered, shooting into the top corner to make the score 3-0.
Minehead maintained control, with Elston scoring his second and third goals just before the hour mark, completing an impressive hat-trick.
With the score at 5-0, manager Craig Carr introduced his substitutes, including Waghorn and Elston, both of whom had been key players on the day.
Despite the score line, the visitors continued to play valiantly, although tensions rose among both teams for a while.
Elston was named man of the match for his outstanding performance.
Minehead are now preparing for their next match against league leaders Congresbury.
Currently, Congresbury are four points ahead, but Minehead have played two games fewer.
Following Minehead's run of seven consecutive league victories, which included five away games, they are playing with growing confidence.
The team will have a break next Saturday before their crucial encounter against Congresbury.
