Taunton Town have confirmed the departure of David Duru, who returns to former club Cribbs FC.
The striker was a summer recruit from the Bristol club but has not been a regular starter for the Peacocks. He has made five full and 12 substitute appearances during his time at the club and scored three goals.
Taunton boss Richard Luffman said: “Dave has been a great person and player for me for some years and the door for David always remains open but in the interests of both parties we feel now is right for us to pause this relationship.
"Dave needs games and goals to keep his own remarkable journey growing and Cribbs will benefit from that. We felt at the moment with Tom Smith as our main nine supported by Jay, Owen and Aysa that Dave would struggle for game time. I want to personally thank Dave for all of his efforts, a guy I’ve a huge amount of love and respect for. Good luck Dave.”
The club thanked Dave for his efforts during his time at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium and wished him the best of luck in the future.
