The Winter Leagues have kicked off at Wedmore Golf Club, with seniors leading the way.
Despite the early stages of the competition, familiar names are already emerging at the top of the leaderboards.
In Division 1, Steve Plant took charge with an impressive 40 points, three ahead of Bill Lander, Moly McMillan, and Jeff Griffiths, who all scored 37.
Brian Webber led Division 2 with 38 points, narrowly beating Charles Woodard, while Phil McMahon and Derek Moody trailed one point behind.
Division 3 saw Bill Witter also reach 40 points, placing him three ahead of Gavin Wood, with Clive Warren-Smith and John Sims another point behind.
Division 4 players have some catching up to do, though Keith Thomas, on 37, and Chris Loughlin, on 36, remain in the hunt.
Meanwhile, the Ladies' competition saw Mandy Vearncombe, along with Pam Berry and Ali Mantell, racking up 75 points, eight points clear of the nearest rivals.
Eileen Parnell, Lyn Bird, and Mary-Lou Denny finished next, with Ali Dodkin, Deidre Wheadon, and Fran McMillan taking third place.
The week concluded with the Daily Mail Foursomes, which ended in a nail-biting finish with just two points separating the top seven places.
Steve and Rob Majpr won on countback over the last six holes with 36 points, while Ian Sentence and Dom Smith took second place.
Jeff Griffiths and Quinton Thorne finished in third place.
