During the course of this season T&P Senior Men have played a total of 36 friendly matches, 22 of which they won 11 were lost and two were drawn.

The season  proved difficult, starting with the extreme weather in spring followed by a not so good summer plus many other commitments the seniors have including all the Avalon league matches and holidays.

Barry Warburton the Seniors captain said: “It was really pleasing to note that during September we had no fewer than 10 new players who stepped up to take slots which bodes well for the future. I’d like to thank all those who took part in what I feel was a successful summer.”

T&P Seniors completed the double ( winning both home and away) against  Long Sutton, Isle of Wedmore, Enmore Park, Yeovil, Oake Manor, Mendip and Vivary Park, in addition they also  earned a creditable draw both home and away against Minehead.

The Seniors completed their friendly fixtures in early October with the match against Taunton and Pickeridge Ladies Section , which resulted in a 5-3 victory meaning that the ladies hold the rolling pin for coming the year.
