Taunton Town goalkeeper Adam Parkes has left the club by mutual consent, the club has confirmed.

The goalkeeper joined the Peacocks during the summer from Plymouth Parkway and has made 17 appearances between the sticks for Taunton this season. However the recent arrival of Josh Gould has seen him miss selection for the last two games.

Manager Richard Luffman said:” Adam has a great personality and is a really good person in the dressing room as well as being a top keeper.

"He’s produced some really good performances for us and I’ve enjoyed getting to know him on a human level, and we wish him all the best at his next club.”

A spokesman for the club added: "We thank Adam for his efforts whilst with Taunton Town FC and wish him the best of luck for the future."
