There was a two way tie on 38 points but after count back it was Lady Captain Emma Smith and Ali McGown who were second just ahead of third placed Lennox Heath and Jan Olive.

The annual Quadrangular Match between sections took place at T&P last week which involved six team comprising of one member from the Mens', Seniors', Ladies' and Juniors' section. The two best scored were counted on each hole and each member played off 85% of their handicap.

The course was in great condition and everyone who took part in the competition enjoyed a dry day followed by delicious meal of ham, egg and chips in the clubhouse, so many thanks to the kitchen and bar staff for that.

The winning team on the day were Martin Evans, Tim Paris, Sarah Gamble and Jamie Ryder.
