Taunton racing driver Ben Bonfield has claimed the Fusion Fostering Association of South Western Motor Clubs Sprint Championship.
The championship this year comprised 13 rounds, but competitors were allowed to count only their best nine results.
It took drivers to various venues across the South West, including Clay Pigeon, Llandow, Castle Combe, Portreath, and Chivenor.
This latest title marks Bonfield's third ASWMC Sprint Championship win, having previously claimed the title in 2016 and 2020.
The championship is known for its competitiveness, demanding high levels of skill and speed.
Bonfield, a skilled engineer, has spent several seasons developing his Jedi Mk4 car, which is powered by a 1000cc Suzuki GSX-R motorbike engine.
In competitions, he shares the vehicle with his father, Tony.
His passion for racing began early in life with go-karting.
He started serious competition at 16, sharing a classic Mini with his father during the 2004 hill climb season.
Record-setting progression followed, with Ben switching to the single-seater Jedi in 2016.
This season, on his path to championship glory, Ben set four new speed records at Portreath and Chivenor.
In addition to sprint events, the father-son duo also competes in speed hill climbs.
Bonfield's success in the 2024 ASWMC season was complemented by a second-place finish in the WAMC Welsh Sprint and Hill Climb Championship.
Regularly competing at Wiscombe Park near Honiton, Ben often tops his class and outpaces drivers with more powerful cars.
In 2021, he secured the TyreMarks ASWMC Hill Climb Championship, which features rounds at Wiscombe Park.
