TAUNTON Town defeated local rivals Bridgwater Town 1-0 on Saturday to retain the Brainwave Challenge Cup.
Former Exeter City striker Chris Wright scored the only goal of the game in the 34th minute.
The challenge match is an annual event between the two sides.
Taunton's next friendly match takes place tonight (Monday) when they travel to play Toolstation League Premier Division side Willand Rovers.
