Taunton B beat Watchet B 72-52 in the top of the table clash in South West 2 of the Somerset league after a dramatic turnaround.
The game appeared lost at the half-way mark with the rink skipped by Brian Underwood 18-0 down.
But in the second half Taunton staged a remarkable recovery with Underwood’s rink eventually losing by just three shots – 23-26.
Taunton A took all 12 points in Premier 1 with a 71-40 win over Bloomfield A from Bath to ease out of the relegation zone.
A similar win over bottom team Victoria A of Weston-Super-Mare next week should see the A team safe in.
Thanks to an outstanding 21 shot win by the rink skipped by Glyn Harris, Taunton C beat Wyrral Park B of Glastonbury 66-56 to take eight of the available 12 points in South West 2.
In a home, four-rink mixed triples friendly, Taunton ran out comfortable 76-56 winners against Chard, 76 – 56.
A similar triples match against Dunkeswell saw Taunton scrape home 64-63 with the rink skipped by Vic Jarman winning the game with a 20 shot win.
The annual six rink mixed fours match against Bideford saw Taunton lose by 39 shots with only two home rinks winning.
The Taunton indoor bowls team brought back the Mcdonald/Powell plate, beating Street 47-44.
