GOLF: Peter Welsh wins Oake Manor's Grandads' Cup
SENIORS’ Secretary Peter Welsh won Oake Manor’s Grandads’ Cup on countback from John Mathews.
The pair each scored 36 points to beat John Barron by one. Peter Swann was fourth with 32pts.
The Seniors and Ladies played a 4 ball better ball mixed pairs last Tuesday when the winners were John Robbins and Sally Thomas with 40pts.
Seniors’ captain Martin Stockley and Ladies captain Barbara Sadler came second with 37.
