BOWLS: Wellington invite beginners to get bowling
WELLINGTON Bowling Club is offering beginners a chance to get to know the game this Sunday from 2pm.
Two of the club’s coaches will be on hand to help people get started and there will be a chance to enter a Target Bowls competition with prizes for each of three age categories – Under 16s, adult beginners and club bowlers.
All you need are some flat shoes to be worn on the green.
The competitions are free and will be followed by refreshments at 4pm.
