Wellington look to get off the mark for the season when they visit Welton Rovers in division one of the Toolstation league tomorrow (3pm).
Wellington have made a disappointing start to the new campaign, losing 3-0 at Shepton Mallet following a 4-0 defeat at Chard Town.
Manager Colin Merrick said: “It’s disappointing and the fact that we havn’t scored a goal yet is a cause for concern. But it’s my job to to make sure the players’ heads don’t drop."
One bright note for Merrick is that Darren Rice, who had a spell as captain of Taunton Town last season, has signed for the club.
Rice can play anywhere on the left hand side and made his debut on Saturday.
