A FOUR-WICKET haul from Ben Orr helped Taunton to a 64-run success over Brislington on Saturday in the Bristol and Somerset Division of the WEPL.
Taunton opened and scored 228-5 from their 50 overs with Matthew Richards and Robert Dickins both hitting half-centuries. Dickins was the fifth and final wicket to fall for 52, while Richards closed on 52no along with Matt Dare 21no.
Brislington were always struggling to keep up with the run chase and once Geoff Iles departed for 75 when run out by Ben Richards for the ninth wicket, it was all over bar the shouting.
Orr helped to swing the game in Taunton’s favour when he ripped out the middle order with 4-28 from his ten overs.
Taunton are at home to Bedminster on Saturday.
