MANY parents and their children will have watched the impressive Men and Women's Triathlon events in the 2012 Olympics with Alistair and Jonny Brownlie winning gold and bronze medals.
Somerset RC Triathlon Club is holding a Junior Aquathlon of swim and run at Queen’s College, Taunton, for children aged eight to 16 years on October 7.
This event is being sponsored by Foot Anstey and Viridor and is backed by the British Triathlon Federation.
Entrants can race as an individual or as part of the Schools & Club Challenge. The event costs £6 to enter with the swim in Queen’s College pool and the run around the secure college grounds.
