TEAMS from Taunton Deane Bowling Club have been enjoying a winning streak of late.

In the West Somerset League, Deane A beat Williton by 16 shots, while the B side chalked up a resounding 76-23 win against Wellington B.

Twelve points were allotted to Taunton Deane A following an 87-36 victory over North Petherton B in the Somerset County League. But the B squad couldn’t get the better of Bridgwater B, gaining just two points after a final score of 54-70.

The sun shone on a superb afternoon of bowls during a friendly against the Rhonnda Veterans. The high-scoring game saw the Deane finish ahead, 121-107.
