TOMORROW'S first Taunton Titans fixture will the Gazette Team Mascot of the Day when a youngster will lead the side on to the pitch.
The mascot will carry the match ball and present it to the referee before kick-off, and will have their photo taken on the pitch with the match officials and the Titans’ captain.
The photo will feature in the County Gazette and Titans’ next home match day programme.
The first mascot will be Kingsmead pupil Will Perry, 11, a player with Taunton Under-12s.
Will’s preferred position is hooker or prop, his favourite teams are Taunton, England and The Lions, and his other hobbies are swimming, cricket.
His heroes are Taunton rugby man Jon Gatford, England international Tom Croft and Olympic swimming legend Michael Phelps.
The match kicks off at Hyde Park at 3pm.
