ILMINSTER Arts Centre’s popular annual children’s exhibition returns this February for its latest instalment.
“Schools Go Visual” is the eight of its kind at the Arts Centre, and opens on Monday, February 11, with artworks by pupils from Chard School, Greenfylde Church of England First School, Neroche Primary School, Swanmead School, Strode College, Stanchester Academy, and taking part for the first time St Mary & St Peter’s C Of E Primary School and Shepton Beauchamp primary school.
As in previous years ‘Schools Go Visual’ will feature many subject matters, styles and materials to provide a rich and rewarding visual experience - for exhibitors as well as visitors.
The exhibition coincides with half-term, making it convenient for family and friends to visit.
With its well-stocked craft shop and bustling café, Ilminster Arts Centre is the perfect destination for a multi-generational day out.
The café is popular with all ages from 0-80+ and offers delicious menu of light lunches, teas, coffees, cakes and children’s meals.
Schools Go Vissual runs from February 11-23.
