LEON is coming up to age 17 and is studying st college to become a carpenter.

The last two years have been tough on Leon. He’s had cancer and missed the last year of school, so didn’t do his GCSEs. 

He lost his home and didn’t attend his regular MRI scans or clinic appointments and wasn’t too bothered about life in general, so I took him in. 

Since Leon’s lived with me he’s changed. He’s had the encouragement to work and do well. 

I think he deserves this as he’s never going to be able to take lessons. I think to come out of the other side of what he’s been through, he deserves so much more. He’s such a good lad.
